Adding finely chopped tomato contributes to the texture and taste. This recipe requires basic Indian seasoning like green chilli, red chilli powder, chat masala, garam masala, sugar and salt. Fresh lemon juice provides a nice refreshing taste to this salad.

  • 1 cup sprouted moong
  • 1 large tomato (finely chopped)
  • 2 green chillies (cut into small pieces)
  • ¼ Tsp chat masala
  • ¼ Tsp garam masala powder
  • ¼ Tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ Tsp sugar
  • juice of half a lemon
  • salt as per taste


  • Add all the above ingredients mentioned in ingredients list to a mixing bowl.
  • Stir and mix everything well. Sprouted Moong Salad in ready!!
